Generations effect generations, what the older generation does effects my generation and what my generation does effects the younger generation and so on and so on. All generations need to step it up so we can influence the others. I am so sick of this world and what we let our eyes see, ears hear and what we allow ourselves to say. We can’t tell kids “don’t do this, don’t say that”, but if we are doing the same thing we teach them not to do, how is that right? how is it going to effect the teachings of the generations? are we okay with that, because I am not! We need to raise up our generations and work together and do God’s work as a whole
Everyone gets to a point where they feel alone, abandoned, rejected, not important, etc.
It is rough to feel that way, when I do I need to remind myself God is there going through the pain with me. He never leaves my side, and He doesn’t leave yours. God is there even though we can not see Him. God does not want us to feel pain but when we do, sometimes he uses that pain to make us stronger. He is there just waiting for us to be so desperate for him that we turn to him and let him have all our pains and situations. He loves you.
There is always a reason for every pain, some sort of method. God could use your pain to help someone else going through that same situation. It is weird how that happens, but it does.
I felt like I needed to remind someone or let someone know you may be lonely but you are not alone. Even though it is tough right now God knows your heart and it will get better. Have faith. Whoever you are, I really hope this helps.
James 4:8 - Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Exodus 33:14 - The Lord replied “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Deuteronomy 31:8 - The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Revelation 3:20 - “Look! I have been standing at the door and I am constantly knocking. If anyone hears me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with me.”
Everyone sins, I do, you do, your neighbors do, the mail man does, the kids at your school, the adults at work, your enemies, your friends, the lady behind you in the line at walmart, and the kid gathering the carts, who works at walmart. Seriously everyone… does not make it right, but it happens. There is this amazing creator who forgives us, all of us for our sins, then throws the sins in the trash and forgets they even existed.
Lately the world has been trying to make my sins re-exist, which encouraged me to write this. My past mistakes were forgiven the moment I asked God to forgive me. The memory will still remain in the world with the people I sinned with, but with God they don’t and that is a blessing. God is such a great God he loves us so much he will forgive us if we are asking from a true heart. Then he never brings them up again because those sins are no longer alive. He gives us grace we do not deserve.
Just remember satan will try to bring up those past sins somehow, but God is the one who matters, and he knows your heart, where you have been, where you are and where you are going, so no other opinions matter except God’s.
Colossians 2:13-14
(13)When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature,God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, (14) And having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away nailing it on the the cross.
Romans 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin (7) because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
Romans 6:18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
Jeremiah 15:19 Therefore this is what the Lord says:”If you repent I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.”
1John 1:19 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrightesousness.
Isaiah 43:25 “I, even, I am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.
2Corinthians 5:17 “If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!”
Today Pastor Rob preached on using the authority God gave us. It really helped me, kind of encouraged me. He talked about how we have authority through God and that if we walked in our power and authority our realtationship and walk with God would grow. Also we could move more in our anointings. So cool!
He called the sermon “Double Portion”, which is awesome, because if we walked in the authority and kept doing that, faith would grow, kind of like an extra portion of supernatural activity. Hope that makes sense. :)
I am done with having the typical “christian” give us other christians a bad name.
Compromise is what leads other people to think that the rest of us are all hypocrites. FILTHY LANGUAGE is compromise. If we are christians and are supposed to be christ-like and do what Jesus did then why do we compromise so freely. Lets hav some self control. Honestly would Jesus curse?! NO! I cant stand it anymore. Jesus would’nt say “I believe in God and live by him every day” and then say “Hey there “bleep” what the “bleep” you doing tonight”.
Don’t get me wrong, NO ONE is perfect! But atleast try, and not just say you are a christian act like one too.
I have my days when I slip up and sin, everyone does, but I try my hardest to live christ-like. I am not trying to brag what so ever, i just wish others would back there talk up with some action.
“But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.” (Colossians 3:8-10, NIV).
Atleast say “bleep”, haha.
That is all :)

Tonight at College Group we played a game that mad us trust and have faith in a person. Half of us were blind folded and the rest were telling the blind where to go. My partner had to be across the room. So I had to have faith in her to lead me in the right direction and trust what she was saying was true. I had to focus and block everyone else’s voices and just hear my partners. The game had a meaning. The people trusting and having faith in the person telling them where to go was like trusting and having faith in God on where he leads you. Also blocking out all the other voices was like trying to block out all the negative voices and focusing only on God’s. The people telling us where to go is like the impact a simple voice can make. Speaking can make an impact on people, especially when it’s the truth. I hope this all makes sense, because it did to me and it made me think. Do I trust God enough or have faith in him? I have always struggled with having faith and trusting anyone. And tonight a simple game and some good worship really had me thinking I need to give all my worries to God, trust him and have faith in where he leads me.
I hope someone who reads this can relate. Faith in something you can’t see can be hard but knowing and feeling the miracles and love, makes the faith and trust issue a whole lot easier.
Well as everyone knows Christmas is coming up. I am beggining to notice that Christmas has changed, it’s more like Santamas. When I was little my mom would buy me gifts but remind me that we are celebrating Jesus’s birthday, and that he is more important than the gifts and the food. I work at a preschool and I can’t even talk about what christmas means because Jesus is involved. Without Jesus the holiday would’nt even exsist. It’s not gift day even though gifts and blessing are nice, but it is Jesus’s birthday! We all need to re think what Christmas is all about. CHRISTmas. Notice CHRIST is in Christmas, just throwing it out there. :)
